The SONY RM-YD014 remote that came with the SONY KDL-46WL135 stopped working because a pair of batteries corroded inside the battery chamber. Of course, finding an exact replacement for a 15-year-old accessory is near impossible. I was able to find a SONY RMT-TX300P, but the specifications didn’t list the exact model numbers for my television or remote. However, since it was a SONY product, I expected it to work right out of the box. After installing a pair of AAA batteries, the new remote was up and running without any problems.
